All participants (aside from keynote- and symposia-speakers) will pre-record and upload their
presentations, which will be made available to everyone prior to the start of the conference.
Each speaker will be assigned a timeslot for a Q&A session, which will be live. There will also be
an optional text-based discussion thread on the page where your video will appear.

Are videos freely accessible on the internet to the general public?
Yes. However, note: (i) only ISOS members can engage in discussions, (ii) videos may be
removed from the website after the conference.
For how long are videos on the website?
They will remain available until their authors decide to remove them from the website.
Who can participate to the discussion threads and web meetings?
All and only ISOS members will be able to participate in discussion threads and web meetings.
ISOS members include all those who have paid ISOS membership fee.
How do I know when the discussion of my video (web meeting) is scheduled?
The final program of the web meetings will be communicated shortly after July 17th. Please note
that the program is centered in the time zone at which UC San Diego is located (PDT). If you are
in a different time zone, your live Q&A session might be scheduled at an unorthodox time of the
day for you. We will do our best, though, to avoid that outcome.
Are web meetings moderated?
Once the program is finalized, participants will be asked whether they are willing to act as
moderators. We hope to find enough volunteers to moderate each meeting.
Are discussion threads moderated?
Can participants receive a certificate of attendance?

I didn’t submit an abstract to the conference, but I would like to actively participate in the conference. Is that possible?
